Floyds Knobs roadshots October, 2007

Here are some 15 selections from an October photoshoot (of over 250 images) taken through Floyd and Harrison Counties along Routes 11, 62, and 111 south of Interstate 64S in southern Indiana. This rich farmland rests on a plateau above the Ohio River just below Louisville. It is a land of hills, or "knobs" as they're called here, and small streams and valleys. With Brown County just to the north, this region of Indiana has been a favorite of painters for many generations. The sequence in which the images appear from left to right and so on, is as they where photographed.
